The best software tools for effective one on one meetings with your employees
Written by: Jon Cumberworth
As a business owner I thought it was sufficient to have meetings with my entire team at once and then one on ones when there was a problem to solve or opportunity to address. It wasn’t until I committed to a framework and system to help take my business to the next level that I implemented consistent, weekly one on one meetings with my direct reports. We started out using Google Sheets and while that was ok, it didn’t have the functionality we needed to track talking points, action items, and other notes from each meeting. I found 15Five and implemented it with our team and it improved the effectiveness of our meetings tenfold. We didn’t lose track of action items from the previous week that weren’t completed, reference notes easily, and include talking points from items that came up during the week prior to our meeting. I would highly recommend 15Five, but below are other software and online tools that make it easier to manage your meetings and team development.
